The role Are you a skilled phlebotomist who enjoys working independently and providing exceptional patient care? We’re seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to join our growing team serving patients throughout the Champaign, IL region — visiting patient homes, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, and bringing quality laboratory services directly to the people who need them most.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience required.
  • Valid state-issued Driver License; must be at least 21 years old.
  • Clean driving record for last 5-years; own reliable transportation, must provide proof of required auto insurance coverage (100/300/100).
  • Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
  • Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Nice To Haves

  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited training school or equivalent, preferred.
  • Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be successfully completed prior to working on our Home Draw team!

Responsibilities

  • Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Champaign, Illinois
  • Collect blood specimens using expert venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
  • Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport
  • Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners
  • Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory and facility staff
