The Mobile Phlebotomist will drive their personal vehicle to client facilities, primarily nursing homes, as directed by the company dispatcher or assigned Area Phlebotomy Supervisor/Area Lead. This role involves following established phlebotomy procedures for obtaining blood samples, ensuring proper patient identification, accurate labeling of specimens, and adherence to policies regarding the transport of Protected Health Information (PHI). The phlebotomist will also plan and organize their draw schedule, maintain accurate records, and work cooperatively with various departments. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, promptly answering a company-issued mobile device, notifying dispatch of availability, and performing other duties as assigned.
