Requirements
- Current phlebotomy certification (CPT) or equivalent training and experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile assignments
- Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary blood collection techniques
- Strong attention to detail and accurate specimen handling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
Responsibilities
- Travel to client locations to perform blood draws and specimen collections
- Accurately label, package, and process specimens for laboratory submission
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Verify patient identity and collect necessary documentation prior to collection
- Manage and maintain mobile phlebotomy supplies and equipment
- Provide a calm, professional, and patient-centered experience during all collections
- Accurately document and report collection data in a timely manner
