About The Position
PTI Health seeks an experienced, full-time Mobile Phlebotomist who has a passion for caring for people. Multiple positions are available for immediate hire. As a PTI Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for the procurement of blood and other laboratory specimens from home-bound patients and patients at facilities such as nursing homes, drug rehabilitation centers, adult daycares and PSC. This position requires attention to detail, a great attitude, empathy, patience, a caring spirit, and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Requirements
- Valid NCPT Phlebotomy certificate by NCCT, NHA or a current certification by an accepted certifying agency for phlebotomy.
- Demonstrate initial and annual competencies in order to remain in the position.
- Experience using a Ipad, centrifuge, and office printer.
- Reliable and efficient transportation is required.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of current liability insurance, or alternatively, be able to use public transportation and possess a OMNY Card.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide patients with the highest level of care.
- Uphold the highest level of ethical behavior.
- Follow policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated by PTI Mobile Lab and our partners.
- Procure blood and other laboratory specimens from patients utilizing standard venipuncture (and other appropriate) procedures.
- Process specimens (centrifuge, pipette, and freeze when required).
- Transport specimens to local lab or PSC for processing.
