The Mobile Phlebotomist will drive their personal vehicle to client facilities, primarily nursing homes, as directed by the company dispatcher or assigned Area Phlebotomy Supervisor/Area Lead. This role involves following established phlebotomy procedures for obtaining blood samples, ensuring proper patient identification, accurate labeling and transport of specimens, and adhering to policies regarding Protected Health Information (PHI). The phlebotomist will plan and organize their draw schedule, complete required logs and records accurately, and work cooperatively with various departments. They are responsible for maintaining equipment, promptly answering a company-issued mobile device, and notifying dispatch of availability for future assignments. Other duties may be assigned by the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor.
