The Mobile Phlebotomist will drive their personal vehicle to client facilities, primarily nursing homes, to obtain blood samples from patients. This role requires adherence to established phlebotomy procedures, accurate patient identification, proper specimen handling and labeling, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The phlebotomist will also be responsible for planning their draw schedule, completing required documentation, and working cooperatively with various departments. Maintaining equipment, promptly responding to a company-issued mobile device, and notifying dispatch of availability are also key responsibilities. The position involves performing other duties as assigned by the Area Phlebotomy Supervisor.
