About The Position

This is a per diem independent contractor position for a Mobile Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant covering Reading, PA and Berks County. The role involves traveling to client locations for appointments, performing various medical tasks, and managing specimen logistics. Availability is needed for 1-2 weekdays from 9 am to 1 pm and one Saturday morning per month, with additional availability for afternoons or early evenings being a plus.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel to client's location for appointments.
• Availability for 1-2 weekdays from 9am -1pm and 1 Saturday morning a month.
• Professional, responsible, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current Driver's License.
• Auto insurance.
• Computer with internet access.
• Printer to print orders and documents.
• Must supply own BP cuffs (reg. & large), stethoscope, scale that goes to 400 lbs., and metal tape measure.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client's location for appointments.
• Accurately label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens.
• Documentation of health histories.
• Perform manual vital signs.
• Obtain EKGs when needed.
• Call clients and schedule appointments.
• Centrifuge SST.
• Scan paperwork when finished.
• Complete tasks in the portal.
• FedEx out all specimens.
