About The Position
Compass Palliative Care is seeking an outstanding Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience and/or interest in palliative care and pain management to provide mobile services to patients in the Athens, Georgia area. This is a PRN position with flexible scheduling based on patient needs and provider availability.
Requirements
- Active Georgia NP or PA license
- Active DEA registration
Nice To Haves
- Palliative care, pain management, hospice, or related experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients
- Provide palliative and pain management care
- Develop and manage treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate
- Provide patient and family education
- Document findings, treatment, and follow-up care
