About The Position
At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information. The Mobile Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. The Mobile Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle. Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Standard computer / technology skills needed.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
Nice To Haves
- Previous security experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conflict resolution and De-escalation.
- Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
- Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
- Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
- Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
- Provide detailed written witness reports.
- Mobile patrol/Foot Patrol
- Actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol.
- Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Conducting patrols via a motor vehicle.
