About The Position

Serve as first responder, providing community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mobile Crisis care is provided in community settings including, but not limited to homes, residential settings, other treatment/support settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings. The ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately is required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited school.
  • Valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (preferred), or an associate level license (LAPC, LAMFT, and LMSW).
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Minimum one to two years’ clinical behavioral health experience.
  • Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills.
  • Familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be licensed in Mental Health to be considered.
  • Submit a current resume, cover letter (optional) and three (3) professional references, which is required.
