About The Position

Barnes Jewish Hospital is seeking a Mobile Medical Equipment Technician to work night shift. This role involves performing a variety of central sterile processing functions, including the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of medical equipment according to specified standards throughout the assigned medical facilities. The technician is required to maintain and control all assigned equipment, remedy process failures and hazards, and maintain appropriate and complete records. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)

Responsibilities

• Follows proper techniques and procedures to ensure the integrity of the sterilization process.
• Performs medical equipment decontamination from designated area procedures according to specified standards.
• Remedy equipment and process failures.
• Maintain and control records in central software.
