About The Position

The Materials Management Mobile Medical Driver provides transportation support necessary to coordinate pick-ups, deliveries, and setting up of mobile MRI and PET units. The driver will operate a company vehicle on pre-described daily routes to specific Riverside facilities. The driver will assist in other areas of Materials Management as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
3-4 years of experience with Class "A" Driver's License (Required)
Commercial Drivers License (CDL) - DMV Class A (Required)
Drives personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job
Operates company vehicles as essential function of the job
Valid Drivers License (Required)
Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) (Required)

Nice To Haves

Experience transporting mobile MRI and/or PET units (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up designated items from all stops on schedule.
Set up and take down mobile units in preparation for use and/or transport to different facilities.
Procure and file documentation or receipts for all items as required.
Ensure all preventative maintenance and safety checks are performed on vehicle and mobile units as required.
Maintain a clean, clutter free vehicle.
Procure any maintenance documentation and receipts and ensure they are maintained in the appropriate maintenance records.
Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding daily movement of units, including any unscheduled changes that may be needed
Assist co-workers with improving work procedures and increasing productivity during non-peak times.
Perform back-up duties for other couriers as needed.
Identify and contribute to route and mobile unit set up optimization for cost reduction and standardization opportunities
Attend all in-service education, departmental, or update meetings as required.
Maintain up to date yearly testing.
