About The Position

This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mobile equipment to maximize operational uptime. The Mobile Mechanic will perform preventive maintenance on various heavy equipment, inspect equipment for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and safety concerns, and maintain accurate service records. The position supports safe and reliable plant operations through quality workmanship and teamwork.

Requirements

• Demonstrated capability to diagnose and repair heavy mobile equipment systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment to maximize operational uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance on loaders, haul trucks, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs effectively.
• Support safe, reliable plant operations through quality workmanship and teamwork.
