About The Position

Mobile Maintenance Mechanic Pete Lien & Sons, Inc., a multi-state mining, mineral processing and construction materials company, is looking for a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this vital position, you’ll maintain and repair mobile equipment crucial to operation s. From light vehicles to heavy-duty mining machinery, your expertise will ensure operational efficiency and safety!

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to read manuals and follow SOPs.
• Your own set of tools to perform the required tasks.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Capability to lift and handle up to 75 lbs., work in varying conditions, and use necessary safety equipment.
• Awareness of and adherence to safety standards and ability to respond promptly to hazards.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check, drug screening and medical exam.

Nice To Haves

• At least five years of mechanic experience preferred; however, candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• A CDL is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment like haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and concrete trucks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and overhauls to predict and address mechanical issues.
• Operate heavy machinery as needed, such as front-end loaders, forklifts, and bobcats.
• Maintain detailed service records and adhere to all safety protocols.
