About The Position

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Requirements

Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Working knowledge of equipment braking systems.
Knowledge of the OSHA requirements for mobile equipment and safety devices.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work overtime.
Ability to work off hours and weekends.
Reliability of attendance.
Accurately recording hours and components for each task.
Show safe work practice around the facility.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, construct, test, adjust, and service equipment.
Repair and maintenance of all mobile equipment with internal combustion engines of all types.
Work from elevated levels, operating mobile equipment, pneumatic and electrical hand tools and jacks.
Understand pertinent diagnostic tools.
Learn our safety and quality procedures.
Build a variety of skills related to processing and melting aluminum scrap, then transferring molten aluminum into molds.
