Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics.
Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
Ability to do tune-ups, brake jobs (hydraulic), and basic wiring
Basic diesel and drive train experience.
Knowledge of minor heavy equipment repairs.

Nice To Haves

3 or more years of experience.
CDL Class A license.
Candidates must supply and maintain their own set of professional mechanic tools necessary to perform all assigned mobile service duties.
Welding experience is highly preferred.
Must be able to travel throughout Broward and Miami-Dade counties as required.

Responsibilities

Inspect and repair company equipment, such as pickup trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, backhoes, compressors, and generators; in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Perform road tests and operational checks of vehicles and equipment to ensure quality of repairs and service.
Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies as required.
Prepare and maintain records and reports.
Monitor prioritized projects, activities, and assignments to ensure completion of deadlines.
Maintain tools, supplies, and workstations in a clean, safe, and presentable manner.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
This role requires travel between multiple yard locations to perform assigned maintenance and repair services.
