Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of vehicle and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to do tune-ups, brake jobs (hydraulic), and basic wiring
  • Basic diesel and drive train experience.
  • Knowledge of minor heavy equipment repairs.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years of experience.
  • CDL Class A license.
  • Candidates must supply and maintain their own set of professional mechanic tools necessary to perform all assigned mobile service duties.
  • Welding experience is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to travel throughout Broward and Miami-Dade counties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair company equipment, such as pickup trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, backhoes, compressors, and generators; in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
  • Perform road tests and operational checks of vehicles and equipment to ensure quality of repairs and service.
  • Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies as required.
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports.
  • Monitor prioritized projects, activities, and assignments to ensure completion of deadlines.
  • Maintain tools, supplies, and workstations in a clean, safe, and presentable manner.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
  • This role requires travel between multiple yard locations to perform assigned maintenance and repair services.
