Responsible for assisting with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities. This role involves inspecting, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing various facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire, life safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, and pumps, along with their associated controls. Additionally, the technician will provide facility maintenance services such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to preserve the client's building infrastructure and grounds. The position requires adherence to safety training, documentation of tasks via CMMS, and maintaining equipment and work areas. Understanding of national and local codes, OSHA, and C&W SERVICES safety policies is essential. The role involves performing quality work, communicating repair status, collaborating with teams and customer representatives, and potentially coordinating with external vendors. Daily surveys of buildings to identify maintenance needs and regular reporting to supervisors are also key responsibilities. Continuous learning and professional development in advancing technology, safety, and general skills are expected. The technician must be available for on-call duty during nights, weekends, and holidays for emergency situations and may have flexible hours to meet client needs.
