Responsible for assisting with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities. This role involves inspecting, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing various facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire, life safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, and pumps, along with their associated controls. The technician will also provide facility maintenance services such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to ensure the client's building infrastructure and grounds are well-maintained. A key aspect of the role is utilizing a CMMS computer system to document tasks, maintain equipment histories, and manage work orders efficiently and in a timely manner. The position requires adherence to safety training, national and local codes, OSHA, and C&W SERVICES safety policies, while maintaining a professional demeanor when working with teams, employees, and customer representatives. The technician may also coordinate with external vendors and will perform daily surveys to identify maintenance needs, reporting conditions regularly to their supervisor. Continuous learning and professional development in advancing technology, safety, and skill improvement are encouraged. The role also includes being available for on-call duty during nights, weekends, and holidays for emergency situations, with possible flexible hours to accommodate client needs.
