About The Position
This role supports Ourisman's mobile service program by bringing routine maintenance and light repair to customers at their location. The position requires an individual who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and represent the dealership professionally. The philosophy of the company is to prioritize the guest and change the way people think about car buying.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years as an automotive technician
- Strong preventative maintenance knowledge and basic diagnostic ability
- ASE certification in Brakes, G1 (Maintenance & Light Repair), and/or Electrical/Electronic Systems
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Strong customer communication skills
Nice To Haves
- GM/Chevrolet experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site services: oil changes, tire rotations, batteries, filters, bulbs, and multi-point inspections
- Explain vehicle condition and recommended next steps in clear, professional terms
- Keep the mobile service vehicle stocked, organized, and safe (tools, parts, and equipment)
- Complete repair orders, inspection results, and service notes accurately in dealership systems
- Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures
- Plan your day to stay on schedule and run an efficient route with limited supervision
