Responsible for assisting with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities. This role involves inspecting, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing various facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire, life safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, and pumps, along with their associated controls. The position also provides facility maintenance services such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to ensure the client's building infrastructure and grounds are maintained. Attending and participating in safety training is required, as is performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance. The technician will utilize a CMMS system to document tasks, maintain equipment histories, and manage work orders. A general understanding of national and local codes for equipment repair is necessary, along with adherence to OSHA, state, and municipal requirements, and C&W SERVICES safety policies. The role requires performing quality work, communicating repair status to supervisors, and working cooperatively with teams, employees, and customer representatives. Coordination with external vendors may also be required. Daily surveys of buildings to identify maintenance needs and regular reporting on operational conditions are expected. The position also emphasizes continuous learning and professional development in technology, safety, and skill improvement. Availability for on-call duty during nights, weekends, and holidays for emergencies is necessary, along with potential flexible hours to meet client needs.
