About The Position

This is a permanent position for a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor (Code MM26-16) to be filled in Nunavik. The deadline to apply is June 7th, 2026. The regular work schedule is on a 4-week rotation with 2 weeks of work (84 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of rest.

Requirements

• Possession of a Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in a relevant discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in supervision and planning.
• Understanding of effective personnel supervision practices.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with SIS and CMMS systems.
• Valid driver's license and general explosive permit.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of Mining Modules FMTM 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7.
• Enhanced knowledge of various mining and underground mining equipment.
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of mechanics.
• Identifying work required for the mobile equipment fleet.
• Ensuring the quality of work executed by the team.
• Organizing and overseeing the department to effectively address diverse demands.
• Collaborating with planners for work preparation and parts orders.
• Minimizing downtime for production equipment.
• Conducting performance evaluations and participating in departmental hiring.
• Adhering to health and safety requirements and guidelines.
• Undertaking any other related tasks as directed by management.
