The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic is located in Toronto and reports directly to the Facility Manager. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Routine Inspections: Conduct regular property and site condition inspections to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Preventative Maintenance: Completion of inspections associated to preventive maintenance tasks, such as: HVAC maintenance (filter changes, belt replacement, lubrications, etc.). Testing and inspection of plumbing assets (pumps, water tanks, cartridge filter replacements, etc.). Testing and inspecting of fire and life safety equipment (fire alarm panels, generators, AED’s, etc.). Upkeep of utility rooms. Equipment Inspections: Conduct visual and physical inspections of lifting devices, cranes, compressors, HVAC systems, overhead doors, and operators to ensure safe and efficient operation. Corrective Maintenance: Self-perform various corrective maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: Gutter cleanouts. Fence repairs. Brick and mortar repairs (parging, tuck pointing, etc.). General landscaping and site maintenance. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently, adhering to client policies and all applicable codes and regulations. Tenant Requests: Respond to a variety of tenant requests, including but not limited to hot/cold adjustments, lighting changes up to twelve feet, minor repairs, and furniture relocation, while providing exceptional customer service. Business Support: Support business initiatives such as audit preparation, maintenance of communication boards, new equipment roll-out, etc.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of complex building systems.
  • HVAC experience is required.
  • Knowledge and experience with building automation systems (BAS).
  • Valid Ontario G driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel in and around the GTA.
  • Bending and lifting required; lifting under 30 kg.
  • Must be able to get reliability or secret clearance.
  • Proficient user of MS365 Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Building Environment System Certificate or a trade license is considered an asset.
