Responsible for assisting with operational maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial/industrial buildings, industrial systems, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities. This role involves inspecting, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing various facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire, life, safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, and pumps, along with their associated controls. The position also includes providing facility maintenance services such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, and snow removal to ensure the client's building infrastructure and grounds are maintained. The technician will attend safety training, perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance, and utilize a CMMS system to document tasks and equipment histories. Responsibilities include timely completion of work orders, maintaining a clean and safe work area, understanding national and local codes, and adhering to OSHA and C&W SERVICES safety policies. The role requires effective communication with supervisors and customer representatives, potential coordination with vendors, and performing other assigned tasks. Daily surveys of buildings to identify maintenance needs and regular reporting to supervisors are also key functions. The technician is expected to participate in training and professional development to enhance skills in technology, safety, and general maintenance. Availability for on-call duties, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to address emergencies, with potential for flexible hours to meet client needs.
