About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Navasota, Texas area. This position requires a mechanic who can travel to job sites and customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment in the field. Experience working on Humvees, trailers, skid steers, and diesel-powered equipment is preferred.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic required
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Mobile mechanic or field service experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics
- Experience working on military vehicles is a plus
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer and job site locations to perform field repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues
- Repair and maintain: Humvees, Military and commercial trailers, Skid steers, Heavy equipment and diesel vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
- Troubleshoot equipment failures quickly and efficiently
- Maintain service records and communicate repair needs with customers and management
- Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
