Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers. Trailer repair experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a hands-on service environment.
  • Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation.
  • Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, technical school degree, a plus.
  • Class A CDL.
  • Your own tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with welding a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service.
  • Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication.
  • Inspect and service brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, hubs, axles, tires, bodies, and trailer components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance.
  • Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management.
  • Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements.
