About The Position

All Star Rents, a family-owned Equipment Rental business established in 1962 and operated by the 3rd generation of family members, is seeking a Mobile Field Technician. With 13 locations providing sales and rentals of quality construction equipment, tools, and vehicles, this is a full-time hourly position that includes the use of a company vehicle and fuel card for work-related travel. Shifts regularly end at 5:30pm.

Requirements

• 18 years or older with valid proof of eligibility to work in the US
• Valid CA driver’s license with satisfactory record
• Ability to lift 50lbs unaided
• Working in varying indoor/outdoor weather conditions
• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance, preferably in construction equipment
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with MEWP with a strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
• Computer Literacy- Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software
• Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal
• A serious attitude towards safety in the workplace
• Satisfactory Background check
• Pass 4panel drug screening

• Be a team player with a positive attitude that likes to have fun at work

Nice To Haves

• Class A driver's license is a plus
• Certifications for MEWP are a plus
• Bilingual in English is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance/PM and Aerial quality control inspections on a variety of construction equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform repairs at customer sites and job locations
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure service truck is stocked, organized and maintain a clean work area
• Provide excellent communication and customer service with customers, locations, and fleet mechanics as needed
• Display the ability to have strong time management skills while working independently in the field
• Loading and unloading equipment, making deliveries for customers as needed and assisting with safety regulations
• Attending and assisting with training as applicable
• Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor
• Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents
