About The Position

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is seeking a talented Mobile Equipment Servicer to work in a unique, dynamic environment at Tyndall AFB, FL. The role involves operating from a mobile fuel station and/or tanker to perform various maintenance and servicing duties for all types of vehicles. This includes fueling, checking and topping off fluid levels, inspecting tires, replacing basic components like wiper blades and light bulbs, performing preventive maintenance such as oil and filter changes, lubricating vehicles, and cleaning interiors and exteriors. The position also requires maintaining inventories of parts and supplies, and keeping work areas clean. The job may require working outside normal hours and responding to contingency situations.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have experience in wiring, electronics, automotive mechanical repairs, welding, and machine shop fundamentals
Must be able to speak fluent English
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must obtain a favorable trustworthiness determination
Must pass pre-employment drug testing
Must be Flexible

Responsibilities

Supplies all types of vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel, and records mileage and tag numbers
Checks fluid levels, battery, cooling system, and engine oil
Checks tires for wear and pressure, replaces wiper blades, fuses, sealed beam lights, and light bulbs
Inspects equipment and performs preventive maintenance services
Changes oil and filters
Lubricates and greases vehicles
Washes and cleans interiors and exteriors of vehicles
Maintains inventories of parts and supplies
Cleans and maintains work areas
Performs additional duties as required
