Mobile Equipment Operator 1
About The Position
The Mobile Equipment Operator 1 operates a Pettibone, Sennebogen, or front-end loader to load, unload, sort, and transport materials while meeting quality, environmental, safety, and production expectations. The operator moves materials to and from processing equipment, railroad cars, trucks, treating trams, storage bins, and other designated areas. The role also supports inventory handling, treatment-charge movement, equipment upkeep, peer training, and the company safety program. Responsibilities
- Load, unload, sort, and transport material in accordance with quality, environmental, safety, and production expectations.
- Move material to and from processing equipment, railroad cars, trucks, treating trams, storage bins, and other required areas.
- Operate vehicle controls and lifting apparatus to position, transport, unload, and stack pallets, skids, boxes, products, and materials.
- Participate in consistent bin and SKU management practices.
- Follow FIFO expectations when handling inventory.
- Participate in physical inventories when applicable.
- Assist with moving treatment charges for storage, loading, and unloading.
- Assist with mobile equipment maintenance and service, including inspections, fueling, safety, and cleaning.
- Train peers in equipment operation.
- Document and report equipment mechanical operation and maintenance requirements.
- Participate in and contribute to the company safety program.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
