About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world’s largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role performs maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, diagnoses mechanical issues and determines appropriate solutions, and conducts regular inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal condition. The mechanic will also maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Evening shift 12:00PM to 8:00PM
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
