About The Position

The Mobile Engineer supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. The role involves maintaining, operating, and repairing HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior repairs. It also includes performing maintenance and repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to keep them up to applicable standards. The position requires performing predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance, determining and resolving work problems, and maintaining records using computer/technology tools. The role also involves fostering teamwork, completing client service requests accurately and expediently, complying with all building policies and procedures, and actively participating in emergency response and training programs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; A combination of four years of experience as a licensed HVAC journeyman or completing a formal program providing equivalent experience
  • EPA 608 certification
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience; industry general building preventative & corrective maintenance
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS)
  • Strong Customer Service & Interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • Strong Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills are required

Nice To Haves

  • Trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, and for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards.
  • Performs predictive, planned, preventative and routine maintenance.
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with established work standards and practices.
  • Determines and/or assists with analyzing and resolving work problems and achieving work goals.
  • Maintains time and production records and customer service requests utilizing a variety of computer/technology tools.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards.
  • Performs and/or completes all cliant service requests accurately and expediently.
  • Complies with all policies and procedures established for the building, including safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
  • Actively participates in emergency response procedures, technical and safety training programs.
  • Perform all work using the proper safety equipment and in a safe manner.
