About The Position

Best Buy Co. has openings in Richfield, Minnesota, for a Mobile Engineer II, App Growth position. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Participate in sprint or process planning. Produce quality code or configuration over fast results. Lead and participate in technical or process design sessions on the Customer Relationship Engineering team. Mentor and lead junior engineers. Understand the architecture around the core systems or processes. Design, develop, and modify software systems. Requirements

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, a closely related technological specialty.
• Position requires at least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in (1) software/web development; (2) application delivery and web or service-oriented environments; and (3) design or architecture for mobile.
• At least two (2) years of this experience must include: (1) experience using Java/Groovy/Swift; (2) using modern JavaScript frameworks, such as React or React Native; and (3) working with product managers and other teams to lead feature implementation and identify/recommend solutions.
