Interest in helping others is our primary focus! Typical hours for these positions have a variable start between 5:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Blood drives normally last anywhere from 6 - 8 hours. In this job you'll have the opportunity to interact with our generous blood donors, not only getting their blood, but registering them in our computer systems. You'll be responsible for record keeping, setting up and tearing down the blood drives and perhaps floating to various locations at our fixed sites (South Bend, Mishawaka and Elkhart). You'll assist with any donor reactions, perform quality control, document drive statistics and review histories to confirm eligibility to donate. Previous phlebotomy experience is strongly preferred. However, for some candidates, we'll train you on everything...all you need to bring is your willingness to learn, GREAT customer service skills and a commitment to doing your absolute best every time you work!
