Mobile Diesel Technician - Evening or Overnight
About The Position
Beltway Companies is searching for a Full-Time Evening or Overnight Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team! Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience with mobile diesel mechanics and diagnostics, preferably with medium and/or heavy-duty trucks
- Must have your own tools
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles
- A working knowledge of computers and maintenance applications
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to occasionally work Saturday hours as needed
- A valid driver's license is required for this position

- Diesel dealership experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Use advanced diagnostic tools to address electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) and minor repairs as identified during inspections
- Completing DVIR write-ups (vehicle inspections) and addressing emergency breakdowns on-site
- Making repairs to medium and heavy-duty trucks efficiently while maintaining high standards
- Collaborating with the service desk to discuss vehicle issues and repair needs
- Conducting routine maintenance, including oil changes, battery replacements, and lubrication
- Test-driving vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure proper functionality
- Staying current on warranty policies, vendor guidelines, and ensuring accurate completion of work orders
