About The Position

Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck. Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems on semi-trucks and trailers. Service and maintain key components, including: Brakes, Steering & Suspension, Drivetrain, Electrical Systems, and HVAC Systems. Perform preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and routine services. Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Perform tire services as needed, including mounting, balancing, and repairs. Inspect vehicles to ensure DOT compliance and safe operation. Maintain accurate service records and work documentation. Keep service truck, tools, and equipment organized and in safe working condition. Follow all safety guidelines, DOT regulations, and company policies. Provide excellent customer service and communicate repairs clearly with customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred).
  • Experience as a diesel mechanic, mobile mechanic, or fleet technician preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently in roadside and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift/move heavy equipment (30–250 lbs., with or without assistance).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred, not required).
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or trade school preferred.
  • CDL preferred, not required.
