About The Position
We're hiring a part-time Mobile Mechanic to support fleet operations in the Central Point, OR area. If you're a skilled tech who enjoys independence, variety, and solving problems in the field, this is the job for you.
Requirements
- 3+ years of mechanical or mobile repair experience
- GED or High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license and your own tools
- Basic computer skills (billing/work order entry)
- Must pass a background check
- Self-directed, dependable, and strong communicator
Responsibilities
- Perform mobile inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vans, trucks, and trailers
- Service calls, truck yard work, and roadside breakdowns
- Preventive maintenance and compliance checks
- Test drives and functional adjustments
- Work order completion using in-house billing software
- Manage mobile parts inventory and maintain accurate records
