All technicians are D.O.T. and brake certified and capable of performing a great number of repairs and services.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on diesel and trailer repair experience.
Demonstrated power unit diagnostic skills — this is a must.
5+ years performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
Valid Driver's License required.
Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency using a computer or tablet for electronic work order processing, including labor entry and status updates.
Must supply own tools.

Nice To Haves

Reefer/refrigerated trailer experience — strong plus.
CDL, a plus.
ASE or manufacturer certifications.
Welding experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to perform all physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation — work is performed outdoors and may involve extreme heat, cold, and humidity.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on Class 6–8 power units and trailers, including engines, electrical systems, brakes, A/C systems, exhaust and after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, and more.
Execute a 50/50 mix of power unit and trailer repair work across a regional customer base.
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections in compliance with federal regulations.
Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device with accuracy and timeliness.
Source parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
Complete DOT forms and all required documentation accurately and on time.
