You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including providing emergency roadside service when necessary. Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience working on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
Strong communication skills.
Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems, and digital tools.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Independent, dependable, and self-motivated.
A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
Must be 23+ years old with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Must possess own hand tools.

Responsibilities

Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to identify and fix issues fast.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
Road test vehicles to ensure all repairs meet top-quality standards.
Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
Work with trusted vendors to source parts and maintain operational flow.
Take ownership of a company-issued service truck, perform maintenance and pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure safety compliance.
Provide support wherever needed as part of a collaborative team.
