About The Position

We’re looking for a Mobile Developer to build and enhance video streaming experiences for Android and iOS. You’ll own key components of our OTT mobile architecture, guiding product, design, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional video playback, performance, and user experiences at scale.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing Android and/or iOS applications.
• Deep expertise with Java and the Android SDK; Kotlin and Jetpack Compose experience is a plus.
• Experience building modular, customizable UI frameworks or plugin architectures.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and video playback technologies (HLS/DASH).
• Experience architecting modular, reusable UI frameworks or plugin architectures.
• Proven track record of delivering performant, user-centric mobile apps at scale.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with live or VOD video streaming platforms
• Cross-platform development experience (Android/iOS/Smart TV: Tizen, WebOS).
• Familiarity with iOS (Objective-C, Swift, or SwiftUI).
• Understanding of multimedia transport protocols (e.g., RTP, RTMP, SRT, UDP, HLS/DASH).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a 4-yr accredited institution globally ranked in the top 500 universities.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile video applications for OTT platforms on Android and iOS.
• Define best practices for code quality, modularization, and performance optimization across mobile codebases.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex features.
• Evaluate new technologies and streaming frameworks, rapidly prototype solutions, and guide adoption of emerging mobile capabilities.
• Translate business and design requirements into reliable, maintainable, and scalable mobile solutions that perform flawlessly in production.
