The Mobile Crisis LVN | Mobile Crisis LPT ensures we are providing safe, effective, and compassionate responses to individuals during a mental health crisis. The Mobile Crisis LVN | Mobile Crisis LPT will respond to calls from dispatch involving a mental health crisis in various settings. They will be required to travel to the location of the caller and provide crisis intervention services, including assessing and documenting holds. The Mobile Crisis LVN | Mobile Crisis LPT will also be responsible for the supervision of the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT). The Crestwood Behavioral Health Mobile Response Team (MRT) provides community-based interventions for those experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team is available to deploy into the community to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization. The MRT is staffed by Licensed/Registered Mental Health Counselors and Peer Specialists who can provide services throughout Napa County, including residences, parks, shelters, schools, and hospitals. The goal of MRT is to de-escalate the crisis and safely connect individuals with mental health care and resources. Crestwood’s Mobile Crisis Services program through our Napa Crisis Stabilization Unit provides crisis services as part of a 24-hour crisis response continuum of care. Our program services are centered on crisis stabilization that utilizes evidence-based practices and features peer support. Our Mobile Crisis Services include screening, assessment, stabilization, de-escalation, follow up, and coordination with healthcare services and other supports. It’s About Growth! Requirements

  • Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
  • Current CA driver's license.
  • Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
  • Knowledge of DBT, WRAP, and psychosocial rehabilitation principles preferred.

Responsibilities
