Requirements

Current licensure in California as an LVN.
Current CA driver's license.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
Knowledge of DBT, WRAP, and psychosocial rehabilitation principles preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures we are providing safe, effective, and compassionate responses to individuals during a mental health crisis.
Respond to calls from dispatch involving a mental health crisis in various settings.
Travel to the location of the caller and provide crisis intervention services, including assessing and documenting holds.
Responsible for the supervision of the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT).
Provide community-based interventions for those experiencing a mental health crisis.
Deploy into the community to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization.
De-escalate the crisis and safely connect individuals with mental health care and resources.
