About The Position

Crestwood is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mobile Crisis Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to join their team. This role is crucial in providing safe, effective, and compassionate responses to individuals experiencing mental health crises in various community settings. The position involves responding to dispatch calls, traveling to client locations, providing crisis intervention services, assessing situations, documenting holds, and supervising a Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT). The MRT itself is a community-based initiative focused on de-escalation, stabilization, and connecting individuals with necessary mental health care and resources throughout Napa County.

Requirements

Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT
Current CA driver's license.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
Knowledge of DBT, WRAP and psychosocial rehabilitation principles preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to calls from dispatch involving a mental health crisis in various settings.
Travel to the location of the caller and provide crisis intervention services.
Assess and document holds.
Supervise the Peer Specialist as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT).
Provide community-based interventions for those experiencing a mental health crisis.
Deploy into the community to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization.
Connect individuals with mental health care and resources.
