About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Mobile Crisis Coordinator to join their Community Regional Crisis Response (CR2) team in Northern Virginia. This role provides immediate, mobile crisis intervention for individuals experiencing mental health crises. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering intensive counseling to stabilize clients and reduce hospitalization risk, leading meetings to engage support networks, creating tailored service plans, and working within a multidisciplinary team for care coordination. The position also requires maintaining accurate documentation and may involve participation in a rotating on-call schedule. The role requires community travel within Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties and cities, and candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of these areas. ESPH emphasizes ongoing professional growth and development, including specialized mobile crisis trainings, and offers a 3.5-day work schedule for work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a human service field.
  • Full QMHP registration with the VA Board of Health Professionals OR license-eligible as a LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
  • Crisis intervention, adaptability, problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • 1 year of experience with mental health populations preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Suite, and technically savvy.
  • Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, or Prince William areas.
