Livingston County Community Mental Health is hiring a Mobile Crisis Clinician to join our mobile crisis team. This role involves responding directly to people in crisis, such as those experiencing suicidal ideation, psychosis, severe depression, or substance-related emergencies. The clinician will be on the ground, using their clinical training to stabilize, de-escalate, and connect individuals to care. The team operates from a person-centered, strength-based model, aiming to divert individuals from emergency rooms and jails by connecting them to appropriate support. Daily tasks include conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, developing safety plans, making diagnoses, and coordinating community services. This is a demanding role requiring the ability to handle complexity, remain grounded under pressure, and advocate for clients.
