About The Position

The Mobile Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises through patrolling. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. The Mobile Security Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via motor vehicle. We have a dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff which will foster you through your growth and advancement in the company.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
Associate degree OR 2 years of honorable military service OR 2 years of professional law enforcement experience.
Standard computer / technology skills needed.
Exceptional customer service experience required.
2+ years of professional experience in customer service and security required.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Monitor standard security and radio communication to handle and escalate incidents as needed.
Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
Provide detailed written reports.
Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
