About The Position

The WMCHealth Mobile Coach Driver operates the company-issued Mobile Coach and drives it to community and clinical events throughout WMCHealth’s footprint in the eight counties of Hudson Valley. The driver is responsible for the Coach’s day-to-day operations, maintenance, supplies, event materials, inspections, and certificates. The role also involves preparing and coordinating winterization of the Coach from December until April 1 each year, including covering and wrapping it after winterization.

Requirements

• Five years of a clean driver’s license record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class B.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Mobile Coach to community and clinical events throughout WMCHealth’s eight-county Hudson Valley footprint.
• Handle day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Mobile Coach, including repairs, weekly maintenance, and cleaning.
• Manage supplies needed for clinical and community outreach activities.
• Manage and coordinate materials needed for the Coach at events.
• Manage inspections and certificates required for the Coach.
• Prepare and coordinate winterization of the Coach from December until April 1 each year, including covering and wrapping it after winterization.
• Arrive at events on time.
• Record and report major accidents and incidents to a supervisor.
• Ensure the Mobile Coach is fueled, well-maintained, and presentable.
• Observe relevant traffic and safety laws.
• Inspect the shuttle bus before and after events for damage, fuel, and other discrepancies.
