About The Position

At J&W Mobile Detailing, we take pride in making cars look brand new — inside and out. We're a fast-growing mobile detailing business in the Bay Area known for quality work, a great team, and happy repeat customers. We're looking for a motivated Car Detailing Technician to join our crew and help us keep raising the bar.

Requirements

• A genuine interest in cars and doing quality work.
• Reliable, on time, and ready to put in the effort.
• Able to stand, bend, and work with your hands for extended periods.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a shop environment.
• Valid driver's license preferred (you may need to move customer vehicles).
• Team player who takes feedback well and wants to keep improving.
• 18+ years old.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in auto detailing, car washing, or a similar hands-on role is a plus — but attitude matters more than resume.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clay, polish, and wax vehicle exteriors to a high-quality finish.
• Deep clean interiors — vacuuming, shampooing, leather conditioning, stain and odor removal.
• Apply ceramic coatings, sealants, and paint protection products.
• Inspect vehicles before and after service to make sure every detail is dialed in.
• Keep your work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Communicate with customers about their vehicle's needs and recommend services.
• Work as part of a team to keep jobs moving efficiently without cutting corners.
