This is a mobile role that supports multiple buildings in the Iselin, NJ area. The Mobile Building Engineer will perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s), maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAV, and air distribution systems. They will monitor and adjust all mechanical/pneumatic equipment, steam stations, control gauges, distributor panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers, and other equipment necessary to provide a comfortable environment for the buildings. This role also involves verifying field conditions, performing necessary repairs or adjustments, monitoring energy management, and repairing doors, ceilings, hand railings, and floors. Additionally, the engineer will perform repairs to plumbing fixtures, preventive maintenance duties, inspect engine room equipment, fan room equipment, cooling tower, motors, house pumps, electric rooms, back-up generator, fire pump(s), sump pump(s), and ejector pumps. They will also replace lamps, light fixtures, signage, and ensure rooms are clean and clear of obstructions. Inspections of emergency exit signs and lights, and fire and life safety inspections are also part of the responsibilities. The role requires documenting and reporting activities, responding immediately to emergency situations, and complying with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives. The engineer must also complete C&W Safety Training and comply with the C&W Uniform Dress Code.
