About The Position

Sunset Chevrolet is looking for a dependable Mobile Technician / Field Service Technician to provide on-site GM Automotive Service diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for customers in the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, traveling to different locations, and working independently. Sunset Automotive Group is a locally and family-owned and operated dealership group on the gulf coast of Florida with 10 new car brands in 11 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties. Requirements

• Previous experience as a GM Service Technician, Mobile Technician, or similar role
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying environments

Nice To Haves

• GM certifications and experience preferred
• Experience in mobile or on-site service roles helpful

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues
• Use tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs and solutions
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
