About The Position

The Mobile Associate supports retail operations by engaging customers and helping them with their technology and service needs in a fast-paced environment. The role involves building product knowledge, demonstrating technology solutions, and assisting customers throughout their shopping journey. It requires developing customer interaction skills, using digital tools, and recommending service plans. Success is measured by customer satisfaction, product knowledge, and effective use of digital resources, while building customer relationships and loyalty. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After completing training, they promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target. The position pays an hourly base rate of $18.00, plus $5.00 per hour during training. T-Mobile guarantees employees at least $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Actual incentives vary by performance and full-time status.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Required skills and abilities: change agility, communication, customer problem solving, customer service, engaging people, multitasking, sales, and teamwork orientation.
At least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Six months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

Use digital tools to demonstrate network coverage, service plans, and product features to improve customer understanding and engagement.

Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management.
