About The Position

Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital is searching for a qualified Mobile Assessment Evaluator to work PRN on a 12-hour call shift (hours and times will vary). As a clinician, this position provides clinical assessment services, including biopsychosocial evaluations, crisis interventions and client centered, recovery-oriented treatment planning. This position interfaces closely with the medical staff, department heads and administration; treatment team/external case managers/managed care organizations, functions as a liaison with other hospital departments. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate knowledge and skill in provision of services to various populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an outpatient and partial hospital setting.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in counseling, psychology, human service field including nursing or social work from an accredited college or university.
RN license required.
Minimum 5-8 years of prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population (preferably in a crisis type work setting).
